One year ago yesterday, Regan Russell was brutally killed by a transport truck carrying pigs to slaughter in front of Fearman's Pork in Burlington, Ontario. To commemorate this brave woman and all the work she did for animals for more than 40 years, I'm republishing a piece I wrote for my blog in July of 2020.
