Anita Krajnc is co-founder of Toronto Pig Save and Executive Director of the global Animal Save Movement. The groups use a love-based community organizing approach to mobilize activists to bear witness to animals at the front gates of slaughterhouses.Anita holds a PhD in Political Science and has taught university courses on social movement strategies. She is a follower of Leo Tolstoy and Gandhi's philosophy of love and nonviolence.
